The story as it happened:
It was cold. It was dark.We were drunk. We were lonely.
We found each other and thats all that matters. Now we are just playing music that is force fed to us from a source in another time and place. Does it matter? Do you care?
We're watching. Always but never waiting: contradiction anyone? For 48,720 hours we've made music to live your life by.
He uses his voice to make noises. Does that mean he sings? Does that mean were mostly instrumental? I could answer these questions but what would you gain and what would we lose?
Just listen and become involved and at the end of the day go to sleep cause it will be night-time by then. Cause you don't know where you're going until you know where you've come from..Do you think we're liars?

Rest have been together now for over 2 years playing a sort of Post rock..ie Mogwai,slint,Godspeed you black emperor mixed with some heavier stuff like Tool, Deftones and At the drive-in.
This year has seen the release of the “There’s no harm in harmony” EP. Rest are always playing locally and will hopefully be doing a mini irish tour this summer with other bands 'Weevil' and 'My Remorse'.And hopefully hitting London for some dates at the end of 2002.
The new Ep will be completed later in the year.
