Single Point of Light are a Glasgow based 4-piece. We play atmospheric,
lyrical songs about hope. Experimental without being obtuse, warm without
being retro, we connect with a wide range of people without dumbing-down.
Haunting guitars and angular keyboards float over a lead rhythm section.
Uplifting melancholia is very much part of what we do.
Single Point of Light are a rock band. A sound which is human, uplifting and
compelling. For the last two years, Single Point of Light have been writing
and recording material, this is now scheduled for release on a mini-album
due out in summer. Brimming with self confidence (often mistaken for
arrogance) and songs to die for, Single Point of Light are explosive live.
This band will sign to a major label and go on to do great things. It is
only a matter of time.
We have recently completed a residency at 13th Note Café in Glasgow (the
last band to do this was Bis) and we have just played Simon Williams’ Club
Fandango night at the Dublin Castle in Camden.
