THE SEPIA AND MARC ALMOND

'Free Spirit' update

The free spirit project is in the final stages of production, and the short films will soon be ready for broadcast. These will be broadcast on international cable networks, and are being touted to MTV Worldwide for program fillers. The short films feature 5 Sepia tracks selected by the production company, set to a theme of extreme sports and outdoor activities...

Ask Marc

Marc Almond, who came down to see the band's debut gig at Gossips in Soho, has recently endorsed the Sepia. He seemed to be enjoying himself in the crowd that night, judging by the amount of bouncing around he was doing! You can see Marc talking about The Sepia (amongst other things) on his website at : http://www.marcalmond.co.uk/askmarc.htm. The Sepia have remastered two live albums for Marc in the past.

Update from The Sepia

The Sepia have signed a license agreement with Pulse Music Management in Japan, who will handle PR activities for the band in Japan only. This will involve negotiating license deals on behalf of the band, and when more news about this emerges, I will of course let you know!

The Sepia are currently listed in the BURBs Sound Room with five other artists and you can vote for your favourite. At the time of writing The Sepia were in the lead but please go along to http://www.burbs.org.uk/soundroom and cast your vote. The more votes they receive the better recognition they will get in the future so please show your support!

Since my last update there has been a lot more interest from various organisations and even more DJ's have picked up on The Sepia and are spinning their tracks in their sets (The Sepia can now be heard pretty much all over the globe).

The Sepia have picked up another review, for www.paperstreetmusic.com, which is very glowing and will be going on-line very soon. To save you the wait I have included a copy of it below!

Lastly, there are some new tracks online at the sepia website (www.the-sepia.co.uk) in the 'Hear' section. New tracks online are the tribal 'Polaris D', ethereal 'Acousma', synthballad 'Dreams', and the powerful 'Forever Lost', enjoy!
