The Sepia

The Sepia played a 35 minute set in front of a good sized crowd in Bournemouth, and the response was truly amazing, considering there were a few technical problems on the night.. Hopefully no-one noticed that one song was played almost back to front.

On to Plymouth, and a great setup at Darkfire (www.darkfire.co.uk) made the night a real winner. The sound quality both behind and in front was truly great, and thanks go to the sound engineer who had to put up with being smoked n' strobed while trying to mix it all up! there were dancers on the floor throughout the set, which we're told is a rarity!

So, that's it for 2001 live appearances, the next gig is back at Underworld on 5th January 2002, supporting up and coming band 'Greenhaus' and our good friends 'Seize'.

Some exciting news about a certain festival in Belgium is due very soon, watch this space......

Lastly, Just time to say thanks to all those who have come to see us this year, and helped to turn us from a load of amateurs into something almost professional! Too many names to mention in a short space, but special thanks to all the Pauls, the MA crew, the Hampshire gang, Gilez 'n' Dave at Armalyte, Frankie Flag, Andy at Bull and Gate, Anders HellStomper, and of course all the names mentioned before....

The Situates website back on-line

The website thesituates.com has now been restored and was down due to Freeola upgrades, not our fault. It'll be upgraded as ASAP and as necessary (and hopefully better looking soon!)

There are current negotiations with an American company who wish to put one of the 3 track CD songs onto their Xtream crash videos for what looks like the worldwide market.

More songs are in pre-production and are due to be recorded in the coming month before Christmas.....and that, at the moment, is a wrap!

Dust Byte

Rock manual Kerrang! said of Highly-rated Alt-rock combo Dust Byte; "They come on like Big Black and The Jesus Lizard jamming to the Beatles harmonies". Dust byte release a brand new double a-sided single - 'Priscilla/The misadventures of the great red shark' which will be out in record shops on Monday 14th January 2002.
