We will be appearing on the local (Pacific NorthWest U.S.) Fox TV station - KCPQ 13 on May 22nd. This will be early in the morning..about 8am. We believe this will prove to be a fun and interesting experience and hope to have some streaming video of the show for all our fans.

A bit further into the future: Phreeworld will be playing at Seattle's "The Progman Cometh" Festival on August 16th -17th. This show will include some progressive rock "legends" and some great "newer" prog. bands. All the bands, venue (Seattle's Historic Moore Theatre) and additional information can be viewed here: http://twomonkeyfinger.com/progman.asp

Tickets go on sale at Ticketmaster later in May. You will be hearing more about this show in the near future. All signs point to this being a *very popular and possibly sold out show.

Leeds Live festival postponed

Due to the amount of Interest we have recieved towards this festival and the ideas behind it, Illustrious PR Ltd and Anonymous Groove have decided to postpone the event in order to allow more time for planning. We are currently discussing possible dates and will inform you in full as soon as we know.

We are still looking for acts for the festival, and we are going to host a smaller event during the jubillee weekend, again, we will inform you as soon as everything is decided.

Rockathon

The Rockathon 2 charity bash for children with Leukaemia it will take place on August 3rd at the Chalvey Working Mens Club - Slough, we will be working with the Anthony Nolan Trust. The aim of the event is to make as much money as possible for the charity. Also this will give bands and promoters some great exposure from local radio stations, papers and the Internet. A&R reps may be present from various labels so give it your best but don’t forget, it’s all for fun! Your only obligation is to be there around 12:00pm to support the other artists on the bill.

At the moment, we have some superb bands confirmed, the list is growing so keep an eye out!

To make the night easier for the organisers you will use the drum kit, amps, mics provided (do not abuse!) you simply turn up with your guitars, effects, snare and symbols and play.

Entry fee will be £2.00 for non musicians all proceeds going to the charity.

We are hoping to get a compilation CD produced with a single track from each of the bands that perform at the event, if all goes to plan, this will be sold on the night to help make money for the charity thus giving you maximum exposure possible.

There will be hot food served all day, there is also an in house cafe so you can eat in peace.

jumpforjoy

Thank you so much to everybody who came along to see us at Cheesy Beans at Bad Bob's on Monday night. To say the gig was a success would be an understatement. All sorts of music industry types were there and some interesting conversations were had. We liked the free beer for the band too.

Point is, lots of important people have become interested in little old us, and it has become apparent that we need to put on a showcase gig for them as soon as possible. To this end, we will be appearing at a special promotional gig at West One Four on Saturday, May 11th.

This will be to promote our wares to our music-biz friends, and show them what a stunning crowd we can pull. Flyers are attached for you as usual, and to say we really need you there for this one would be understatement number two.

West One Four (formerly The Orange) is a great venue - Leo's favourite in fact. Very comfortable, lots of tables to sit at, a PA system that is treated like a hi-fi, rather than a device for scrambling your internal organs, plus a lovely long bar. Print as many flyers as you need, and please - tell all your friends.

This gig is being professionally filmed, so wear your best frock! All the info you need is on the flyers. If you have trouble opening them, get back to us and we'll put some real paper ones in the post for you.

All info, plus a review of the Bad Bob's gig is at http://www.jumpforjoy.ws
