Well, I'd caught the Charlie Horse accidently at their first gig as they were one of KaitO's support bands, but what a band. This lot although no vocals knew how to get their audiences attention.

The trio made an interesting start to the evening and it didn't surprise me one bit when I was told that their influences included: Nirvana, Jimmi and Can. But, yes there is a but… although impressed with the talent of these musicians, I still felt that they still needed a vocalist with one of those powerful DEEP voices echoing out, which fills the room with that added bit of atmosphere.

Daniel Pencavel (Guitarist), Adam Tilley (bass) and Smitty (drums) described their music as 'experimental avant-garde classic', I however, describe it as good old fashion rock with out the melodic (or not) vocals. The packed venue that night seemed to enjoy the cool tunes and with ambitions like 'I want to be able to pay the rent' and 'I don't want to work in the office'... I'm sure these guys will do just fine.

Well there's just one more thing to add and that's the Chill out factor and this lot get 9/10
