We were tipped off that this band, who normally play in the Kings Lynn area, would be playing in a talent competition in Diss. So I made my way over there to check them out.
As it turns out, Escape is a very talented teenage band and is made up of Eddie - guitar, Ben - guitar, Stuart - bass, Tim - drums and are blessed with the voice of Lizzie.
Lizzie and Eddie established the band 3 years ago while still at school. It started out as a grungy thing and now they have settled into rock. As mentioned, they are known for playing rock but were playing tamer stuff for the benefit of the judges. Tame or not, you can hear the power in Lizzie's distinct voice and I look forward to hearing them strut their rock stuff.
The lads would like to go pro' with all the stuff that goes with it. However, Lizzie would just like to be known and get out to gig at the weekends. I do feel they could well be discovered and with the excellent support they have from their family and friends they could go far and Lizzie may change her mind.
Escape, are made up of great, talented, fun and friendly people and KlubKat hopes to catch up with them soon.
