I've seen Lemma gig a lot now and it has to be said that for a young bunch of chaps aged of 18, they play well and come up with some really original music along with doing a few covers. Lemma has been about for two years playing Punky Rocky Pop music. To give you some idea their influences are: The Smashing Pumpkins; Foo Fighters and Korn.

The band is made up of: Flatty (lead vocals, rhythm guitar); Trigg (lead guitar and backing vocals); Barry Sinclair (bass); Paul Emery (drums). All of them aged 18 with ambitions to get to the top.

I asked them what their most successful moment was and they all answered: 'The night of the Holton gig, everyone asked for an encore...'. Along with that successful moment they also have had the disasters, like when they were all going to record their first CD. Barry was four hours late and when he did turn up he forgot his bass and Paul forgot his drum sticks. Well done guys.

How the band got together? Well, they all went to the same school and they found out that they all wanted to start a band and get a few tunes together. So they did.

These guys are worth a listen so check out the gig guide! You can also check out their web site at http://www.dspace.dial.pipex.com/mikef/lemweb.html. Good luck chaps, all the best.
