It's been a good eight years since I've seen the Hamsters, and they still know how to rock. The Railway was packed and unfortunately it was impossible to take any pictures, so we nicked the poster, having asked them first.
They are currently doing their 10th anniversary tour to celebrate ten years of full-time Blues Rock, which I feel is quite impressive but makes me feel old.
I could not help noticing, that the Hamsters, have a nice little side line in rodent merchandise. They have come a long way from the days when they were selling their tapes and t-shirts from a case in front of them, of which I have an original t-shirt. Now they have CD's, video's, baseball caps and not forgetting the t-shirts, all accompanied by their very own sales person. If you happen to forget your wallet, or plastic you can order over the phone, with your trusty card. All very swish.
I have been a long time fan and can only urge you to see them at the earliest opportunity. Have a rockin' good time!
