It all started when Jason woke up one morning and looked at himself in the mirror, came into the front room and declared that he had a secret hairdresser, from then on The Secret Hairdresser was born.

The five-piece band from Cambridge, I would describe as unique on stage, for the reason that they play along to their own backing tape... Something I've never seen before. I'm sure they would have done really well if they hadn't have suffered from the problems that they did the night that I saw them, as the backing tape kept skipping (Oops). Even through there misfortune they still sounded good, that is when the backing tape decided to stay still for a few minutes and so I decided that now was my time to have a quick chat.

KK: Hi Folks well how do you describe your music then?
Tom: Grundgy, Indie, Contemporary British music
Shana: Our influences include Weezer
Tom: My Bloody Valentine...
Tim: Chris Bell
Shana: and Sid Barratt

KK: What has been your most successful moment?
Tom: Our last rehearsal
(Well since there only 6 months old I think that's fair enough)

KK: What are your ambitions for the band?
Shana: Make a single
Tom: Have some interest

KK: What do you do other than be in the band?
Tom: Pet Store
Shana: Temporary Work
Tim: Makes Sandwiches
Jason: Promoter
Simon: HMV Employee

KK: Well ending on a more humorous note, if there was one thing that you could change about yourself what would it be?
Shana: I don't know... Mmmm... The way I can't answer any questions!
What about you Tim?
Shana: His aftershave!
Tom: I'd change my American humor
Jason?
Shana: His underwear
What have you been up to with these two my dear?
Simon: I'd change my strings.
