It's quite amazing really, something is actually happening in Bungay and it's all due to the Bungay Arts and Theatre Society.

A Month of Music supports all the local talent around the area, and comprises a whole month of events. Covering a variety of music, it will mean lots of fun and a little of everything. There's bound to be something for everyone.

It looks as though all genres of music will be represented. There will be Jazz and Blues from Liane Carroll, playing with Peter Kirtley's "angry sexy rock numbers" as Tom Pickard puts it. Country rock will be represented by The Fever, Blind Lemon Soul band, The Treacle Miners, Celtica, Lucas and Mark Flanagan the guitarist from the Jools Holland Band.

If you're not into any of that you could always see the Beccles Chamber Orchestra, Ian cooper playing classical guitar or the Anglia Consort. Tickets can be bought at Sexton Blake, 40 Earsham Street, Bungay.

All this in one little town... A month NOT to be missed.
